Getting Started
How do I record my first dream?
Open the app and tap the record button. Start speaking about your dream naturally, as if you were telling a friend. When you're done, tap stop. The app will automatically transcribe and summarize your recording.
When is the best time to record?
Record as soon as you wake up, while the dream is still fresh in your memory. Keep your phone nearby so you can start recording immediately. Dreams fade quickly, so the sooner you record, the more details you'll capture.
Can I edit my recordings?
You can edit the transcript text after recording. Tap on any dream entry to view it, then tap the edit button to make changes. You can also add notes and tags to help organize your dreams.
Subscription & Billing
How does the free trial work?
Every new user gets a 7-day free trial with all features unlocked. No credit card is required to start. You'll be prompted to subscribe only after the trial ends.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iOS, go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Tipoca. On Android, go to Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Tipoca.
Can I get a refund?
If you're not satisfied within 14 days of a paid subscription, contact us at support@tipoca.app for a full refund.
Technical Issues
Why isn't my recording working?
Make sure you've granted microphone permissions to Tipoca in your device settings. If recordings still fail, try restarting the app. Contact support if the issue persists.
Why is the transcription inaccurate?
Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality. Speak clearly in a quiet environment for best results. You can always edit the transcript manually after recording.
How do I sync across devices?
Sign in with the same account on all your devices. Your dreams sync automatically when you're connected to the internet.
Privacy & Data
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your recordings and transcripts are encrypted both in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Can I export my dreams?
Yes. Go to Settings → Export Data to download all your dreams as a JSON or text file. Your data is always yours.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
